BECKI SALMON - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Becki Salmon joined Hardin Industries in 2016. Her specialties include business strategy and operational planning, financial and operational management, new venture development, technology, corporate restructure and building leaders. Becki brings with her over 25 years of experience in both large and small company settings. This includes the role of Lead Manager for a Fortune 50 client with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Treasurer / CFO for her family’s business, and several years consulting for small business and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Hardin Becki was the CFO of G&D Integrated, and most recently was Interim Chief Operations Officer of a generator packaging company. Ms. Salmon is the Treasurer of Corn Stock Theatre, a board member of Central Ilinois Freinds, and has served on the boards of Junior Achievement of Central Illinois, Junior League of Peoria, Kickapoo Council Girl Scouts, Peoria Ballet and First United Methodist Church Trustees.
ERIC PORTER - DIRECTOR OF SALES
Eric is directly responsible for leading and developing the Hardin sales team and brand. He joined Hardin in 2019, bringing with him over 20 years in the on-site power generation market. Eric has built valued relationships with Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, and many consulting engineering firms. He has helped clients secure hundreds of generator projects in the critical standby, waste to energy, wastewater treatment oil and gas world. He also has vast experience with Switchgear (UL891 & UL1558) and paralleling controls. Eric has been involved with EGSA, Midwest Cogeneration, SWANA, and LMOP Associations.
MARK PLUMER - PRODUCTION MANAGER
Mark Plumer joined Hardin in 2017, and is responsible for production. He has 24 years of industry and leadership experience in production, mechanical, electrical, field service, test cell and welding of power generator packages. Mark is focused on built-in quality, efficiency, meeting customer expectations and building strong teams. Mark has been a key player in upgrading Hardin production quality, training, and execution.
DAVE ORWIG - ENGINEERING MANAGER
Dave Orwig joined Hardin in 2018, bringing 23 years of manufacturing experience. Dave is a 1993 graduate of Bradley University, with a degree in electrical engineering technology. His manufacturing and leadership experience started in the electronics industry as a manufacturing engineer designing, installing, and maintaining production equipment. For the past 16 years, Dave has worked in the generator packaging industry, the past ten of it as a lead mechanical design engineer creating 2D and 3D designs of all types. His work experience has allowed him to design for manufacturability and product improvement. He has knowledge of numerous SCR a nd DEF systems, including retrofitting the systems on generators and plumbing/wiring the systems to meet code.
JOSH CRISMAN - QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER
Josh Crisman is responsible for leading and developing the Quality Control Process. Josh joined Hardin in 2020, bringing ten years of generator packaging experience. Josh has five years of experience designing custom generator packages from 250kw to 3000kw. He has implemented and designed standard product, standard work, work instructions, process mapping and work flow output as well as build in quality process. Josh has further experience in field service as well as hands on shop experience in fabrication, assembly, and electrical switchgear.
JOHN KAPECHUK - ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER
John Kapechuk has more than 25 years of electrical experience, 15 in the power generation testing field. He has load tested hundreds of generators ranging from 250KW to4MW, 480v to 13800v, often at remote sites. John brings extensive experience in control logic, ac/dc electrical systems, CAT ET and EMCP panels, including programming.
DEB COUGHLON - PROJECT MANAGER
Deb Coughlon brings 23 years of management experience. Her area of expertise is in working with customers to manage large scale projects, troubleshoot issues, and track and implement procedures. Deb works with customers, sales, and engineering staff to manage projects from purchase order to completion.
SHAWN TRENT - PROJECT MANAGER
Shawn joined the Harden Team in May of 2020, bringing 13 years in the power-generation industry in roles in Project Management (special projects, switchgear/controls and mechanical packaging), Field Service Management and Sales. He has vast experience with landfill gas to energy and other waste to energy projects. Shawn is a member of PMI (Project Management Institute) at both the national and local levels; and serves at the local American Legion Post 0466 in Eureka.
