HARDIN INDUSTRIES IMPROVEMENTS

We are excited to share several announcements with you regarding recent changes we have made at Hardin Industries.
 

At Hardin, our most valuable asset is our team of talented and dedicated people.  We are excited to introduce our newest members.

 

Dave Green - Drafting Supervisor: Dave brings over 13 years of industry experience designing power generation projects; this includes all aspects of enclosure design and an outstanding attention to detail and quality. Dave produces superior drawings tailor-made to the customer’s requirements.

 

Mark Plumer - Production Manager: Mark has 22 years of industry and leadership experience in production, mechanical, electrical, field service, test cell and welding. Mark is focused on built-in quality, efficiency, meeting customer expectations and building strong teams.

 

Deborah Coughlon- Project Manager/Quality Control:  With 23 years of management experience, Deborah’s area of expertise is in working with customers to manage large scale projects, troubleshooting issues, and tracking and implementing procedures. Deborah will be coordinating with you, Tim, and Scott to manage your projects from purchase order to completion.

 

Scott Fritz – Sales Associate: Scott brings 5 years of design engineering as well as an impressive history as an entrepreneur. Scott has degrees in CAD and Drafting and Science.  Scott is focused on ensuring a positive customer experience.

 

We are confident that the addition of these individuals in key leadership roles will allow us to build on a strong foundation and enhance our operational efficiency and product quality.

 

The company is also making a significant investment to ensure we are consistently adhering to the industry’s best practices and quality standards.   These are the list of recent accomplishments and remaining quality and training initiatives for 2017:

 

·        UL142 Certification for tanks up to 54” tall x 12’ wide (effective August 2016)

·        American Weld Standard D1.1.for all welders (effective September 2016)

·        American Weld Standard Prequalified Weld Procedures (effective April 2017)

·        Overhead crane capacity increased to 120K pounds (effective May 2017)

·        UL 2200 Certification for enclosures (effective June 2017)

·        International Business Code compliant (effective August 2017)

 

We are obtaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification. We have implemented a robust quality control process as the cornerstone of this endeavor. Estimated completion is the third quarter of 2017.

 

With the support of our new ownership, over the last ten months, we have implemented process improvements that have enhanced the quality of our products and customer experience.
